Showing your own fields next to Trailspark's

Overview

You can see your own account details (industry, account owner, anything else you track) next to Trailspark's Propensity and Why, and Trailspark's Propensity on your own Accounts board, using monday's own Mirror column. Trailspark can't set this up for you: monday doesn't accept a Mirror column's settings from an app, so this is a short, one-time step you do yourself, once per field you want to see. After that, monday keeps the mirrored value current on its own.

Info

A Mirror column is read-only on both boards. Nobody can edit a score, or your own field, through one.

Show your own account details on the Trailspark Accounts board

  1. Open the Trailspark Accounts board.
  2. Add a column, and choose Mirror.
  3. Choose the CRM account column as the connection.
  4. Choose the field on your Accounts board you want to see (for example, Industry, or Account owner).
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each field.

Show Trailspark's Propensity on your own Accounts board

This one needs the link back turned on first: Show a link back from your own board on the Destination tab (see Connecting monday CRM). Once it is on, your Accounts board has a column linking to the matching row on Trailspark Accounts.

  1. Open your own Accounts board. It already has a column linking to Trailspark Accounts.
  2. Add a column, and choose Mirror.
  3. Choose that link column as the connection.
  4. Choose Propensity (or Buying group, or Why).

One thing to know about owners

monday's own CRM template keeps the account owner on the Deals board, not on Accounts, so there is no owner field on a stock Accounts board to mirror in the first place. If you've added your own owner field directly to Accounts, you can mirror that one the same way as any other field.

Mirroring is not the same as reading

A Mirror column only changes what you see in monday. Trailspark never reads a mirrored value. If you want Trailspark to use a column of your Accounts board, in scoring, in the ICP builder, and on the account page, map it on the Field Mapping tab instead. See Read your account fields from monday.
