# Your Trailspark Leads board on monday

## Overview

**Trailspark Leads** is a second, optional board: one row per person, showing who at your scored accounts is engaged. It is **off by default**. Turn it on from the **Destination** tab of the monday CRM page, after monday is connected.

## Turning it on

On the **Destination** tab, the **Trailspark Leads** card has the switch. Trailspark creates the **Trailspark Leads** board in the same monday workspace as your Accounts board, and starts adding rows on the next update.

- **Which scores get a person onto the list** controls who gets a row. By default, only people currently scored **Hot** do, so turning this on doesn't flood the board with every person Trailspark has ever seen.
- **Account rows are always updated before person rows.** If both boards have work waiting, your Trailspark Accounts board never falls behind because the Trailspark Leads board is busy.
- Connection health reports the two boards' backlogs separately, so "catching up on people" never reads as the whole connection being behind.

## Matching people to your Contacts board

Trailspark matches a person to your own Contacts board by **email address**. Once Trailspark Leads is on, the **Field Mapping** tab's **Your monday boards** card gains two more pickers: **Your Contacts board** and **The column holding the email address**. Choose them and save.

A person with no email on file, or one Trailspark can't match, still gets a row, with an empty **Contact** column, and Trailspark keeps checking once a day. With **Add missing companies and people to monday CRM** on (off by default), Trailspark adds the missing contact to your Contacts board instead.

## The columns

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Name** | The person's name. |
| **Title** | The person's job title, when known. |
| **Lead score** | Hot, Warm, or Cold. |
| **Score status** | Current, or Merged. See below. |
| **Buying-group role** | The role or roles this person holds at their account, as plain names. |
| **Account** | Links to this person's account on the Trailspark Accounts board. |
| **Contact** | Links to the matching item on your own Contacts board. Empty when Trailspark has not found a match yet. |
| **As of** | When this row was last checked. |
| **Last changed** | When something worth noticing last changed for this person. |
| **Open in Trailspark** | A link to this person's page in Trailspark. |

**Treat these columns as read-only**, the same as on the Trailspark Accounts board. Trailspark rewrites them on its own schedule, and typing into one never changes a person's score.

## When your CRM merges a person away

If your Contacts board merges this person's contact into someone else's, Trailspark marks their row's **Score status** as **Merged** and then leaves it alone for good. It is never updated, deleted, or brought back. This is deliberate: a merged person's row is finished, not an error to fix.

## Erasing a person's data

If you erase a person's data in Trailspark, their row on this board is **deleted**. That is the only reason Trailspark ever deletes a row here. It doesn't touch their contact on your own Contacts board; that record is yours, and it is yours to remove separately if you want it gone too.

> [!WARNING]
> Erasing a person in Trailspark deletes their row here, but it does **not** stop them from getting a row again. If they are still a live, scored lead in Trailspark, a later update can add a new row for them, because nothing on this board's side suppresses them.
